2days of sick leave
i've been on 2days mc.
of which one day was spent going back to pjc to see all my teachers and those others who had a significant impact on who i am today.
i went back to visit the sticko as well. she's still as thin as ever.
but she grew. met li nan and wen er as well. haha. some family secrets unveiled.
haha. i'm a lucky girl.
my babylove came to visit me immediately after work yesterday to keep his sick girl company (:
it was fun watching tv together and munching on seaweeds.
haha. yes i was naughty again. was heading down to work but wee&i didn't feel too good so i continued on my mc.
went to serangoon area to visit wee's grandmama.
had a visit to novena square and saw this pretty pretty dress from korea.
it's under kiv for my cny shopping.
i got myself a pair of levis for cny. wee got a similar one as well. different cutting.
thinking to getting shoes.
but i saw my bank account lose it's volume by a drastic amount.
firstly for the doctor's fees for like 99bucks. plus my pair of levis.
all the binging. pampering of myself and buying present for the teachers.
haha. yes i'm spendthrift. but hardearned money consoles me.
just tell myself i can earn back my jeans by working for 2days while my jeans can last me for a long long time (:
my working days have been boring.
but a small turn of events have made it slightly more exciting.

birthdays.
this has been one hell of a busy week.
physically taxing and mentally taxing as well.
i've been sick. down with the flu. so i officially cannot taste anything.
haha. give me all the greens and the healthy food now. i won't complain!
loads of birthday cheers to share during the week. and i saw the exact same people at each celebration!
haha. yes. they were all wee's friend's birthdays.
tuesday was a
happy birthday tongloong!! (:my poor aby had to crack his heads so hard to to surprise his best friend on his birthday.
never seen him so stressed up before. but it was a good one.
had bbq at wee's house with linus being the head chef of the night.
haha. his pork chop was awesome!! haha.
i shall not shoot him down on a particular dish though. haha.
it was fun no doubt.
thursday was a
happy birthday kenny!! (:not another surprise cos it would be too predictable.
haha. had pot luck at my house and we totally overestimated the amount of food needed.
had like kfc. rocky's cheese sticks. fried carrot cake. oyster egg. fried chicken. & kenny had mee sua. haha.
got him some cake from bakerzin.
haha. and leroy and nelle became the celebraties of the night.
it was finally down to yesterday. haha. i couldn't wait for the week to be over!
the air in the office is really damn awful.
siew mui & jasmine are sick as well.
as well as the people from ctu, ipu and vpu. haha.
but the weekend's here and it's time to chill. take things slow.
my parents are off to shanghai tomorrow :(
i'll be a lonely kid.

a little bit of everything.
HELLO!! (:
i haven't blogged in ages. haha. that's cos i haven't had the time (:
been working my butt off lately.
due to the arrival of 2007, i have been working ot recently.
not to mention that the jams are back since everyone's back from their year end leave.
so i've been planning to start work at 8.30am everyday so that i can end at 6.30pm.
but due to the jams i've been reaching at 9am so hence ending at 7pm.
marina square has become my backyard nowadays with it just literally being my backyard. haha.
i got myself some 3quarters from zara lately - absolute steal.
& i've recently gone back to the solid tops rather that those artsy fartsy ones which i still think are pretty.
i got a denim skirt from zara as well - not a sale item though. haha.
decided to pamper myself since i received my official first paycheck in my life (:
nothing much happened recently.
only interjc pageant thing zouk last sat.
VERY BELATED CONGRATULATIONS to shih wen for winning the crown.
&michelle for winning runner up.
yesterday. wee&i headed to some chinese doctor to check on the physical problems.
haha. darn expensive but i guess it's worth it.
he got poked by the doctor with some needles.
and thankgoodness i didn't have to face those needles cos i'm scared stiff of them.
went home to rest cos the two of us have been under the weather lately.
met later in the evening to celebrate our early 15months which is on monday. but we'll be working.
headed to harbourfront (:
CABLE CAR!! (: we took a ride on the glass cablecars all the way to sentosa.
walked around to kill time before the musical fountain show. had new zealand natural's ice-cream (:
had loads of photos taken in the cable cars as well (: not to mention some with my big chunky polaroid camera!! (:
watched the musical fountain at 8.40 all the way till 9.10 when we headed to mount faber to soak up the night breeze.
musical fountain was definitely entertaining and it really gets to the little child in both of us.
mount faber was definitely cool and to a certain extent cold.
& yesterday was really a THANKYOU HEAVENLYDADDY situation.
it was just about to rain during the musical fountain where any geog student would know it was going to rain really heavily.
that was the last thing that i wanted to happen cos wee hasn't seen the musical fountain in a long long time so i just wanted him to soak up the enjoyment.
so i prayed (: WITH LOADS OF FAITH.
and hallelujah!! (: it didn't rain (: (: (:
you have no idea how grateful i was yesterday.
though the time spent together wasn't exactly very long, i'd love to think of it as QUALITY time. nothing to do with the quantity. but every second spent was worth it.

church today!! (: it would be mummy&daddy's last and final church service with me in singapore :(
they're flying off to shanghai next sunday.
but due to the advanced technology, i get to use a webcam to talk to them every other night.
looks like next week will be a long and tiring travel to work everyday. wish me luck.
